Dr. Laura Belsten is an internationally known expert and author of the Social + Emotional Intelligence Profile®. She has studied extensively with international EI experts, and she is certified in four other leading emotional intelligence instruments. She has been on the faculty of the University of Denver for over 20 years where she teaches graduate courses in leadership and communication, including a graduate course in Coaching Emotional Intelligence. She is an executive coach in private practice for over 15 years, a Master Certified Coach (MCC) through the International Coach Federation, and earned her Ph.D. in Leadership & Organizational Communication from the University of Denver in 1996.
